Panamanian coins (one-, five-, 10-, 25-, and 50-cent pieces) circulate having the same size, shape, color and value as the US ones and are used interchangeably with them. Throughout of the country, the tropical climate is divided into the winter or rainy season from mid-May to December and the summer or dry season from mid-December to mid-May.
